The Maison
Maison BVM, short for Brachet de La Valette Monbrun, is a contemporary glass art studio.
Founded by two brothers, Léon and Ulysse Brachet de La Valette Monbrun, it is built around a constant dialogue between vision, craft, and structure. Each piece is handcrafted, with particular attention paid to light, balance, and precision.
The artistic direction of the Maison is jointly overseen by the two co-founding brothers.
Léon embodies the glassmaking craft, through a patient and precise practice, attentive to the material, the movements, and the rhythms it dictates.
Ulysse supports the development of the Maison and its projects with a structured vision, attentive to uses, contexts, and locations.
Maison BVM develops unique pieces and bespoke projects, designed in close relation with the architecture and the spaces they inhabit.
The Maison also presents its work through exhibitions, conceived as periods of research and contextualization.
